Marketing Manager

Domainex has a permanent vacancy for a creative and enthusiastic marketing manager ideally with a degree in a biology or chemistry discipline and prior relevant marketing experience obtained within a life science organisation. 

The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate confidently with colleagues of varying levels of seniority and gather key information.  The ability to multi-task and have excellent IT skills are a pre-requisite. A good understanding of the drug discovery process is also essential. 

A willingness to work both from our sites near Cambridge but also from home from time to time will be required.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Working closely with the Director of Commercial Operations and Domainex’s external marketing agency, you will:

• Devise and deliver integrated marketing campaigns including new service launches and measure their impact
• Regularly review and update Domainex’s website to ensure that it covers all of Domainex’s service offerings, that SEO is optimal and the content is engaging and clear
• Issue press releases and utilise other communication platforms, especially social media to drive market engagement with prospects and customers
• Gather external market intelligence and report on market developments to senior management
• Oversee Domainex’s engagement with industry press and trade bodies so that the profile of the organisation is enhanced, culminating in the company securing further industry awards nominations
• Seek to publicise marketing to internal colleagues and to gain their buy-in to initiatives that you devise
• Organise events/conferences and ensure that such events are publicised and ROI is measured
